This Season FILA Gives Us An Insight Into The World Of Parkour With Their Brand New Collection

Published

Creativity, fluidity of movement, and the importance of training are all at the heart of FILA‘s AW22 collection, as the brand takes to the streets of Brighton to explore the subculture of parkour. Marking the first instalment of “Art Of Fila”, the concept showcases various creative forms and we can’t wait to see what’s up next!

Taking us through what the athletic sport means to them, world-renowned parkour athletes showcase the new season’s offering of FILA through explosive and candid movement shots as they train on a winter’s night. The brand’s classic F-Box collection is reimagined for both men and women, with soft velour, polar fleece, cosy knitwear, puffer jackets and heritage inspired sportswear, designed to allow movement throughout the cooler months.

Menswear welcomes sharp collared track tops, matching ribbed pants, as well as FILA classics, the zipped down Devon Polo and the Settanta jacket. The womenswear collective boasts FILA-embossed velour crew jumpers and joggers, activewear arriving in deep tones of grape, purple and pink, and layering varsity essential jackets all providing versatile fluid movement – with a streetwear edge of course!

But it doesn’t stop there, not only are we treated to a renewal of the F-Box collection but the brand also continues their much-loved unisex range to complete the rest of the year. This range is the epitome of casual comfort, featuring loose-fit t-shirt, joggers, quarter-zips, hoodies and jumpers, so you can mix and match to find your perfect set – just what we are thinking as the weather turns colder! If that fashion-forward cosiness didn’t sound ideal already, the unisex pieces have been made from 96% recycled cotton as they continue to move towards a more sustainable future, that doesn’t sacrifice comfort or quality. *adds to basket*

Uniformed in their love for the sport, the campaign presents the inspiring and thought-provoking stories of what the sport means to those that complete it, including internationally-renowned Joe Scandrett who is considered one of the best parkour athletes in the world. With over 15 years’ experience, Scandrett’s unique and creative parkour style has led to his success as he emphasises training allows creativity to be implemented within his movements. Scandrett is also joined by Rachel Gough, a 20 year old up-and-coming athlete who uses parkour as a form of self-expression. Highlighting that gender does not limit skill within extreme sports, Gough’s training is crucial for her to achieve her goals.

Whether you want to push the boundaries by taking part in a certain sporting activity, or perhaps through your choice of fashion and style, one’s thing’s for certain, FILA’s there supporting you through it all. The AW22 collections are available to shop now!
