Start Prepping For April Showers With Our Favourite Spring Dressing Pieces

Hello Spring! We’ve officially entered the season of baby animals, daffodils, and April Showers. Whilst it’s exciting that the days are getting longer and we are slowly (but surely) working our way out of cold temperatures, spring weather is notorious for jumping from sunshine to rainclouds in a matter of minutes which makes getting dressed in the morning just that little bit trickier.
The best way to approach spring dressing is by layering thin jumpers and sweater vests over shirts or tees so that you can take away or add layers depending on the temperature. Of course, no spring outfit would be complete without something that will offer protection from the rain, but that doesn’t mean that you have to pull out your waterproof from way back when. Materials like leather and vinyl will offer great protection from the elements without forcing you to skimp on style. Alternatively, trench coats are a timeless classic that will never go out of style.
The warm embrace of spring after the dark and cold winter months as well as the fact that – if all goes to plan – we will soon be able to see our friends and family again means that the next few months are due to be the best and brightest we’ve had in a while. Dress accordingly, and don’t forget to inject a healthy dose of colour into your outfits!
