Evolving from renowned denim brand to sustainable fashion empire, American born retailer FRAME now offer us the ultimate leather wardrobe staples, and even better they are completely ethical. Inspired by the London aesthetic and crafted in Los Angeles, FRAME is back with another sustainable endeavour, and this time it is all about responsible leather and padded styles.
The authentic fashion brand have rolled out two statement puffer style jackets in two muted colourways, perfect for the Winter season. The first, a structured sleeveless padded jacket with lapel detailing and a relaxed silhouette, in a deep forest green. The second, a long sleeved puffer with a tie in belted waist and cinched detailing, in a rich chestnut brown. Transcending timeless style rooted in high quality wardrobe staples and garments that will last a lifetime, the responsible collection is crafted with both style and sustainability in mind.
Produced in New Zealand, the responsible leather pieces are ethically sourced and made from 100% recycled fill, whilst the brand also offers full traceability and transparency on the raw materials used in production. The intricately designed garments mirror the meticulous manufacturing process, which prioritises the fair treatment of animals, protects workers’ rights, avoids any form of exploitation and reduces overall environmental impact.
The progressive fashion brand are constantly evolving in order to reach the pinnacle of sustainable practise, always searching for alternative techniques to reduce their carbon footprint and become more sustainable. Shaped by their commitments to ethical fashion, the brand already pride themselves on using a mixture of consumer recycled materials and environmentally safe fabrics to create covetable, timeless pieces.
This is not the first time the brand have offered a sustainable collection. In 2019, FRAME launched their first sustainable denim capsule, with garments derived from recycled cotton and plastic bottles, as well as championing eco-friendly wash techniques that reduce water consumption and use of toxic chemicals during production. This sits alongside the brand’s ethical credentials of using recycled, biodegradable cashmere as well as Pima Cotton which removes harmful pesticides and favours organic growth techniques.
Whilst many brands make the transition to more conscious manufacturing process’, FRAME remain at the forefront of promoting ethical fashion without compromising a chic fashion statement. Alongside an existing range of sustainable yet stylish pieces, the brand’s responsible leather jackets are now available from the official FRAME website. Prices stand at £1272 for the sleeveless leather puffer and £1664 for the wrap leather puffer, perfect to invest in for the Winter season ahead.
