Coach x Observed By Us Is Original, Playful and Proud

Coach has launched a bright new collection which has as much skill as it has soul. Made in collaboration with Los Angeles-based illustrator and designer Jessica Herschko and actor Kirsten Dunst, the creative bunch admit that the pieces are quite literally inspired by Dunst’s closet. The Coach x Observed by Us has a spark of innocence mixed with nostalgia for edgy American fashion. 

Dunst’s personal style mixed with the brand’s unrestrained creativity and self-expression means that the possibilities are endless. This collab brings some playful and youthful pieces such as ready-to-wear, bags, footwear and accessories that offer a nod to the iconic American style, which might be old school, but with a refreshing new twist. Coach’s heritage colours are blended with new hues to bring together an offbeat, look. 

But it is the hand-made touches that add a new spin to this collection. A wool pointelle crop top, overalls and a straw hat: these key pieces of the collaboration are filled with unique hand-drawn illustrations by Herschko. And in the classic Coach style, these designs are all full of stories that are written in Herschko’s handwriting.
