Coach Brings a Comforting Escape to the Busy City of London, Inspired by its Iconic Pillow Tabby Bag!

Published

Coach has introduced an immersive installation in London inspired by its playful and creative approach to its authentic American heritage and its iconic Pillow Tabby bag, and we cannot wait to visit!

The ‘Coach Pillow’ installation was created in collaboration with artist Cyril Lancelin and is a large, plush take on the fashion house’s fan-favourite shoulder bag. The experience invites the people of London to explore the giant, pillow-like structure in London’s Soho Square. The installation perfectly reflects Lancelin’s abstract, geometric style in soft pink and is finished with the instantly recognisable Coach signature.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Coach…shares my passion for innovation!”

Cyril Lancelin

The Pillow Tabby bag was designed as a reaction to the times we have been living in over the past few years, and the Coach Pillow was developed as an extension of that story. Lancelin and Coach designed the exhibition to be a comforting escape from the outside world and tell a story to people who interact with the structure.

Excitingly, the Coach Pillow also comes to life within the installation! A unique augmented reality experience has been designed for the exhibition, in which visitors can join in on a treasure hunt which gives them the chance to explore Lancelin’s stunning design as well as win their very own Pillow Tabby!

“The Pillow Tabby was originally designed in response to the times we were living through…inviting clients into a soft, playful world inspired by our Pillow Tabby.”

Stuart Vevers, Executive Creative Director

The Coach Pillow Experience is open to the public today until April 10th from 8AM to 8PM. However, the experience doesn’t stop there, following the commencement of the exhibition in London, it will also appear in Berlin and Dubai!

So what are you waiting for? Get down to Soho Square and experience the magic of fashion and art coming together.
