British Fashion Council Partners With Netflix

Published

The British Fashion Council announces collaboration with Netflix, as the streaming platform commissioned three fashion design students to create garments inspired by the latest hit Netflix Original series, Bridgerton.

Designer Richard Quinn mentored the three BFC scholars Aurélie Fontan, Edward Mendoza and Shanti Bell to create period costumes. The final designs, inspired by modern day gossip columns, were modelled by the stars of the show.

This partnership demonstrates the importance of education through mentorship, supporting British Fashion Council’s talented designers working on one of the biggest shows of the year.

This collaboration with Netflix illustrates the vital position fashion plays in television, the actors’ characters were brought to life by our scholars’ beautifully designed looks for the campaign shoot.
