11 Honoré Takes Inclusivity To the Next Level At New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week, the hotspot for innovation and creative freedom in the fashion industry. Size-inclusive brand 11 Honoré, in partnership with Afterpay, took steps to become the first fashion brand to make their new Spring 2022 collection, designed by Danielle Williams Eke, available to consumers from the NYFW Runway.
11 Honoré continued their mission to champion plus-size representation in fashion, creating pieces that honour plus-size women’s bodies and style, so they can look and feel their best without limits. Preparing for the upcoming brighter season, Eke featured a variety of colour and prints throughout the line – from soft, subtle pinks to tangy tangerines.
11 Honoré and Afterpay’s partnership was developed with their mission statement in mind and are built on the notion of accessibility and democratizing fashion. The NYFW show saw 11 Honoré offering a ‘see now, buy now, pay in four’ option live from the show – a first for this designer and for shoppers across the U.S who have a front-row seat to the NYFW show from their own homes.
In the last five years, 11 Honoré has been leading the plus size fashion community and is still striving to continue to take it further, all whilst offering affordable on-trend and designer fashion.
Founder of the brand, Patrick Herning said, “There is much work to be done to make fashion more inclusive.” Herning continued by crediting Afterpay for helping them stand out “front and centre” at NYFW.
Designer Danielle Williams Eke, who has previously worked on a collection with the brand, stated that the show was: “This collection is a celebration of the plus community that I’ve had the privilege to be a part of, but also a declaration to the fashion industry that this customer is here to stay.”
