Women in Sport: Change the Game

UK rapper Ms Banks stars in the latest BBC’s trailer for the 2019 FIFA. The song is a remake from the noughties hit ‘Remember The name’ by Fort Minor and forms part of their campaign ‘Change The Game’.

In true girl power spirit Ms Banks wrote this powerful anthem in one night capturing every emotion that not only athletics go through but women in general. The aim of the song is to inspire the next generation of young girls.

The trailer successfully manages to features all 264 players from 24 countries. That’s pretty amazing if I don’t say so myself.

“Working in a male dominated industry myself I can understand and appreciate some of what it must be like for women in sport and so I felt very passionate and eager to get involved with the campaign. Sport can unify people all over the world so this summer especially we have an opportunity to come together to support and empower these incredible women.”
