We’re Talking All Things Handbags With Marc Jacobs Latest Campaign Fronted By Kim Gordon & Coco Moore
For the past few years, we have been totally driven by accessories, with the ability to elevate a look and provide the façade that we’ve spent hours getting ready – what can we say, we love our sleep but who says we have to sacrifice our style? Well, if you’re anything like us, you’ll be thrilled at Marc Jacobs recent campaign which introduces us to a new offering of this season’s handbags (and reintroducing us to some beloved classics from the brand’s archives).
Spotlighting the all-new J Marc Shoulder Bag, whilst highlighting the re-edition of the Classic Q Collection, and the launch of M-Archives – a curation of beloved vintage styles from previous Marc Jacobs collections that have been revitalised, recontextualised and reintroduced for the younger generation of today– the campaign is faced up by Kim Gordon of the band Sonic Youth, and her daughter Coco Moore.
After first modelling for the brand in a 1998 campaign, this isn’t Gordon’s first rodeo after the longtime muse also starred in the Fall 2015 Runway alongside her daughter. Celebrating decades of their well-documented friendship, this new campaign truly captures the collision of the designer’s fresh arrivals and classic silhouettes as the duo are styled head to toe in archival runway pieces.
Crafted from soft, supple grain leather, the Classic Q bags are completed with the gold standard supply plate, as seen in previous collections, and updated with recent Marc Jacobs branding. Available to shop in multiple shapes, sizes, and colourways and with removable and adjustable crossbody straps, this really does sound like the bag collection of dreams!
Hop in, we’re going bag shopping and the first stop is Marc Jacobs!
