Havaianas Collaborates With Design Studio Reality to Idea

Travelling abroad might not be on your to-do list this year but we can channel our inner Los Angeles vibe with the brand new collaboration between Havaianas and graphic artist Joshua Vides’ design studio, Reality to Idea. Inspired by LA, the collection celebrates the bohemian spirit of Venice Beach, fused with Vides signature black and white illustration style. The range includes a top, T-Shirt, flip flops, socks and a beach towel, all following the same Reality to Idea monochrome graphic. We basically feel like we’re already on a Southern Californian beach!

Being raised in Southern California, anytime we would hear or see the Havaianas brand was because we were near the beach. We wanted to develop a “Beach Essentials” collection that you could pack up and hit the sand with.

GUESS Originals Releases Summer Games 2021 Collection

As we gear up for the Summer Olympics to begin, GUESS Originals announce their new Summer Games 2021 collection which uses vintage graphics archived from its 1989 Worldwide collection. The 48-piece range for both men and women takes inspiration from classic GUESS designs, as styles are modernised with soft prints and washes to create an authentic, heritage American Sportswear feel. The women’s capsule features a selection of cotton dresses, crop tops and biker shorts, with additional accessories such as trucker hats, fanny packs and bucket hats – giving you the perfect variety to prep you for the summer. The overall collection features classic Americana red, white and blue colours, whilst being balanced out with tones of black, grey and pops of orange and yellow. With this collection, we’re ready to jump into the Olympic action!

Eco-Swimwear Brand Away That Day Collaborates with Influencer Bettina Looney

One thing we love about summer is swimwear shopping, and this year is even easier as eco-friendly swimwear brand Away That Day launches an eye-catching collection with Bettina Looney. This partnership embodies elegance, style and body confidence, whilst ensuring that true joint passion for sustainability. Sticking to this idea of planet-friendly swimwear, the pieces have been made from regenerated nylon, derived from ocean plastic, fishing nets and other waste materials. *adds the whole collection to basket*

I was very much inspired by my mum, especially her style back in the 80’s! I love the flattering shape of the bikini and how the bottoms sit high on the hips. I love Away That Day’s sustainability aspect and how inclusive the brand is – It is an amazing way forward. I love how the collection has a bit of a Miami flare to it, and especially how it was inspired by something my mum wore in the ’80s. My favourite has to be the two-piece bikini with the high waisted bottom – I’m obsessed with it!

DUMEBI Founder Launches Non-Profit Foundation For Sickle Cell Warriors

Here at FROW Magazine, we love to highlight brands that are going above and beyond to raise awareness for particular matters and luxury British womenswear brand DUMEBI is one of those. Raising awareness and supporting people who live with a Sickle Cell condition, the brand’s founder Barbara Biosah launches a non-profit foundation, Gideons Treasure Foundation. Inspired by her own experience living with Sickle Cell Anaemia, Bisoah aims to use the growing platform of DUMEBI to create a support system through creative workshops, including Fashion and Art, as well as entertaining charity events. 20% of DUMEBI’s sales will go towards funding the Gideon’s Treasure Foundation’s initiatives, so the charity can offer free workshops and classes in order to use creativity as a means for hope and escapism.
