There’s An Iconic Collaboration On The Block As Michael Kors Partners With Ellesse

Published

Breaking news! Fashion powerhouses, Michael Kors and ellesse, are joining forces to create a collaborative luxe sportswear collection that celebrates ’70s athleisure.

Launching in May, the 24 piece capsule collection offers a contemporary, luxurious take on retro activewear, with lifestyle items emblazoned with a one-of-a-kind, waved pattern emblem – fusing the iconic MK with ellesse’s tennis and ski inspired logo. Capturing bold attitudes, oozing confidence and spreading the eternal coolness of vintage style, the collection features fresh design twists, including ellesse’s signature colour palette of fiery oranges and reds, contrasted with rich navy blue and crisp white.

Notable highlights involve bold tracksuits, vintage-style swimwear, and playful patterns sported in the form of chunky sneakers, slides and neon bucket hats – perfectly in tune with the upcoming warmer season. Celebrating classic styles with a modern twist, the Kors’ Hudson backpack and Bradshaw shoulder bag are must-haves that complete the collection.

Shot on a sun-soaked Miami court, the campaign is fronted by a few famous faces including, model Emily Ratajkowski and Brooklyn-based rap musician Jay Critch. Bringing both the vibrant designs and energetic DNA of the brands to life, the capsule collection will feature in a series of pop-up installations around the globe.

This drop is set to be huge, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the launch across the brands’ social media…
