Pick up the phone, it’s Friday and as always we’re calling from FROW to catch you up on this week’s conversations in fashion, beauty and lifestyle. This weekend we’re watching retail giants show us that the perfect products don’t cost the earth, dipping into the latest beauty launches and taking a peek into Spring/Summer fashion collections to brighten up the week ahead.
Levi’s Footsteps towards Sustainability
For every sustainable cotton selected and every fabric fibre woven into their history, denim favourites Levi’s are stepping from their iconic 501 jeans and walking into Spring with their authentic LS1 Sneaker. Inspired by urban skate-wear, the timeless sneaker celebrates the contemporary evolution and craftmanship of an everyday sneaker. Crafted from grainy cottonised hemp and recycled polyester detailed with contrasting stitching, raw edging and metal eyelets, the trainers adopt a considered approach to building your conscious wardrobe whilst continuing their journey of respecting the planet. Available in both low and mid-top silhouettes and four versatile colourways of blue, black, ecru and ochre, keep your eyes out next month later this month for the drop.

Santa Cruzing for a New Womenswear Collection
Skating into the fashion scene and surfing the waves of streetwear fashion trends, urban brand Santa Cruz have just launched their Womenswear Collection for SS22. Enriched with fashion history and celebrating their skateboarding heritage, the capsule transcends their striking style of disruptive designs, reinvented colour palettes and standout graphics whilst retaining timeless silhouettes and refined lines. From the pastel shades of the Carpenter Pants and the tropical prints of the Cabana Shirt to the water-resistant Hike Rain Jacket and Hat, the collection floats seamlessly between the seasons. So, this is one for the skaters, those who want to skate, or those who have no desire to get on the ramps but are completely on board with the skater influence style, the Santa Cruz collection is the perfect one for you.
A Tasty Fashion Collaboration
This season has been no stranger to a tasty food meets fashion collaboration and our appetite has been satisfied with Cadbury’s Crème Egg’s exclusive collection with emerging sustainable label Rua Carlota. In true Charlotte Kirkham upcycled and conscious style, the handmade piece de resistance collection celebrates the brand’s ‘How Do You Not Eat Yours’ campaign; home to unique silhouettes and designs crafted from pre-loved materials. What’s more the endless sleeved top, no mouth balaclava and oversized mittens have been designed to make it harder for the wearer to eat a Crème Egg which gives them a chance of winning £10,000. Resisting the urge to eat the Cadbury eggs won’t be easy with the brand’s striking designs, and although the first drop may have already sold out within a few hours, we’re ready to eat the second collection up!

Just how Hollister Celebrated World Teen Mental Wellness Day
Commemorating World Teen Mental Wellness Day, Hollister have continued their partnership with leading digital youth charity The Mix by hosting an insightful podcast and releasing an exclusive capsule collection. On a mission to destigmatise the attitudes surrounding mental health and improve support networks for young adults particularly after the challenging impacts of the global pandemic, the special episode of The Mix’s ‘By The Way Podcast’ offers a platform for their ambassadors, and Hollister store associates to share their experiences and achievements. Alongside the podcast, a relaxed fit hoodie joins a graphic t-shirt printed with ‘Prioritize Yourself’ and a pair of floral socks to raise wider awareness.
