FROW News: Anok Yai’s Shoe Throne, Tyla’s Kate Spade Era & KAYALI’s Kitten Musk 👠✨

From Tyla’s Kate Spade era and Rosé’s ballet-inspired PUMA's to KIKO MILANO bringing matte make-up back for autumn and a fragrance that started life as an April Fool’s joke, this week has delivered fashion drama, throwback beauty and some very edible-sounding perfume. Elsewhere, a new book is asking why SEND children are still expected to adapt to an education system that should be adapting to them, the Pirelli Calendar is looking at India through more than one lens and Tesco has an offer worth knowing about before your next meal out. Let’s get into it. ⬇️

Tyla Is Bringing Her A*POP Era to Kate Spade New York 🍏👜

Tyla has been named Kate Spade New York’s new global brand ambassador and will make her debut in the brand’s Autumn 2026 campaign this August. Tying in rather neatly with her second album, A*POP, the campaign sees the two-time Grammy winner carrying the Duo Mini shoulder bag in new Beet and Laurel Leaf shades.

Tyla’s personal style has already made her one of music’s most interesting fashion names, so this pairing makes sense. Kate Spade brings the joyful New York accessories, Tyla brings the heat, and suddenly a mini shoulder bag has found itself in the middle of a full pop era. The campaign lands in August, and we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for Tyla’s full Kate Spade debut.

Keke Palmer’s Fabletics Collection Is Made for Women Doing Everything 🏃🏾‍♀️✨

Keke Palmer has returned to Fabletics with a second collection that understands activewear is no longer reserved for the gym. The 27-piece range mixes PowerHold leggings with an oversized blazer, cropped trench jacket, Bermuda shorts, barrel trousers and a mini skirt, covering everything from workouts to everyday plans.

Available from today in sizes XXS to 4X, prices range from £12 to £202. It is the kind of wardrobe built for women going from work to a workout, running errands and somehow still being expected to look put together. Frankly, it is about time the clothes started keeping up with the schedule.

Anok Yai Is Sitting on a Throne Made From Shoes for Ferragamo 👠👑

Anok Yai takes her seat on a throne made from discarded shoes in Ferragamo’s new Autumn/Winter 2026 campaign, photographed by Johnny Dufort. Created by artist Willie Cole in 1994, the sculpture is joined in the campaign by Vittoria Ceretti, Jingyu Huang, Ning Chang and Thibaud Charon.

Several Ferragamo archive designs return too, including a stiletto inspired by a 1954 style and an architectural sole first developed in 1957. The A/W collection is available to shop now, but Anok on an actual shoe throne remains the kind of fashion drama we are particularly willing to entertain.

Summer is not over, despite fashion’s yearly attempt to put us in coats while we are still searching for outdoor seating. & Other Stories’ new Pre-Fall collection, The Reset, is available with lightweight trench coats, colourful denim, jacquard knits, leather pieces and gathered dresses for that awkward stretch between seasons.

The reworked trenches are the ones to watch, with cropped shapes and sculptural sleeves giving the wardrobe staple a much-needed refresh. Earthy shades are lifted with pink, red, burgundy and purple, so autumn may be approaching, but there is no need to surrender everything to brown just yet.

Zara Has Given Utility Dressing a Softer Side 🌸🪖

Zara’s SRPLS FLWRS collection brings together two unlikely wardrobe companions: practical workwear and faded summer florals. Relaxed overshirts, trousers, dresses and outerwear are softened with washed prints, muted pastels and broderie details across womenswear, menswear and childrenswear.

Available online and in selected stores, the collection is for anyone who appreciates the pockets and easy proportions of utility clothing but does not particularly want to look ready to report for duty. Cargo dressing has had quite the run, so a little romance certainly will not hurt it.

Rosé Has Given the PUMA Speedcat a Ballet Makeover 🩰🎀

PUMA’s Speedcat has travelled a long way from the racing track, and Rosé is taking its latest version straight into ballet territory. The new Speedcat Etoile keeps the trainer’s familiar low-profile shape but adds satin-inspired finishes, soft suede panels and ribbon laces that can be tied into bows.

Available now for £90 from PUMA, the trainer comes in pastel pink and a soft buttery shade. Ballet flats and sporty trainers have been circling one another for several seasons, so it was only a matter of time before they tied the knot, or at least the bow.

KAYALI Turned an April Fool’s Joke Into an Actual Fragrance 🐱🍮

KAYALI’s fictional Kitten Musk fragrance started as an April Fool’s joke, but followers liked the idea far too much to let it disappear. The result is Boujee Kitty Caramel Milk | 22, a gourmand fragrance filled with caramel milk, salted caramel, white chocolate, vanilla caviar, marshmallow, musk and sandalwood. Subtle, she is not.

Available now, it costs £80 for 50ml and £28 for a 10ml miniature, with more sizes arriving in December. The beauty world is hardly short of perfumes that smell like dessert, but never underestimate shoppers presented with the opportunity to smell like an especially expensive pudding.

KIKO MILANO Is Bringing Matte Make-Up Back for Autumn 💄🖤

After years of glazed skin and high-shine lips dominating our beauty bags, KIKO MILANO is making the case for matte make-up again. The limited-edition Matte Diaries collection includes 16 products across the face, eyes and lips, with vintage-inspired greens, soft reds and neutral shades bringing a distinctly autumnal feel to the range.

This is not quite the flat, drying matte many of us remember from the first time around. The collection includes weightless lip colours, a cushion-like Bounce & Blur Matte Bronzer and the £18.99 Timeless Invisible Liquid Mattifier, a three-phase liquid setting powder made with oil, water and powder to control shine without creating a heavy finish. The Matte Diaries collection is available now online and in stores, ready to tempt us back to the matte side.

AKT’s New Body Mist Does More Than Smell Good 💦🍊

Body mists are having another major moment, but spraying something fruity over sweat and hoping everybody politely ignores the situation is not always the answer. AKT’s new alcohol-free body mist, The Haze, combines fragrance with a deodorising ingredient intended to neutralise body odour, alongside niacinamide and prebiotics.

Available now in five of AKT’s existing scents, the 100ml mist costs £35 and can be used after workouts, during festivals, on hot commutes or whenever perfume alone is fighting a losing battle. It does not replace antiperspirant, but at least this body mist has arrived prepared to do more than sit there looking pretty.

Viktor&Rolf’s Bonbon Collection Smells Like a Trip to the Sweet Shop 🍿🍬

Viktor&Rolf has taken its Bonbon fragrance into full sweet-shop territory with three new scents made for wearing alone or layering together. Bonbon Caramel Crunch blends popcorn, salted caramel and vanilla, Bonbon Berry Jelly mixes raspberry jelly with blackcurrant and peony, while Bonbon Cola Fizz pairs cola with lemon and white musk.

Available now from The Perfume Shop for £79 each, the colourful bow-shaped bottles are every bit as playful as the names suggest. From caramel milk to cola and popcorn, perfume appears to be raiding the snack cupboard this summer, and honestly, nobody seems particularly interested in stopping it.

Emma Pinnock Is Asking Schools to See the Potential in SEND Pupils 📚💡

Birmingham-based educational leader Emma Noel Pinnock has published Igniting Potential: The Inclusive Teacher’s Guide to SEND Success, a practical guide for teachers supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Combining classroom strategies with psychology and neuroscience, the 294-page book is written for teachers, SENCOs, school leaders and trainees.

Pinnock draws on her professional experience and her perspective as the mother of a son with SEND, but the question at the heart of the book reaches far beyond education professionals. Why are children still expected to squeeze themselves into a standard system when that system should be learning how to support them? Igniting Potential is available now in paperback for £18.99.

The 2027 Pirelli Calendar Is Looking at India Through More Than One Lens 📸

The Pirelli Calendar has travelled to India for the first time, bringing together photography, memory and nine contemporary women whose lives and work are connected to the country. The line-up includes Aditi Rao Hydari, Avantika Vandanapu, Freida Pinto, Anoushka Shankar, Rupi Kaur, Lakshmi Menon, Bhavitha Mandava, Padma Lakshmi and photographer Avani Rai.

The project began with celebrated Indian photographer Raghu Rai, who had planned to place images from his six-decade archive alongside present-day India before his death in April. His daughter Avani continued the work on the streets of Old Delhi, while Norwegian photographer Sølve Sundsbø photographed the nine women across Rajasthan. Rather than expecting one woman or photograph to represent an entire country, the Calendar allows each person and perspective to remain distinct. India was never going to fit neatly inside a single frame, and thankfully, Pirelli has not tried to force it.

TRACES Is Adding a Little Something Extra to Your Summer Spritz 🍹✨

TRACES has given the canned spritz a functional twist with Vita Spritz, a blackberry and açaí-flavoured alcoholic drink containing B vitamins, vitamin C, magnesium and zinc. Each 250ml can is vegan, gluten-free and 5.5% ABV, with 88 calories and 1.2g of sugar. A case of 12 costs £32.99 from DrinkWell and Amazon.

The added vitamins do not cancel out the alcohol, of course, but Vita Spritz could appeal to anyone looking for a lighter alternative to some of the sweeter canned cocktails on the market. It is still a summer spritz, only this one has arrived with a little more than bubbles in the can.

Tesco Is Giving Clubcard Shoppers a Little Extra for Their Next Meal Out 🍽️💳

Tesco Clubcard shoppers can collect 500 bonus points, worth £5 in Clubcard vouchers, when they spend £50 or more on a One4all Restaurant Favourites Gift Card. The card can be used at a range of familiar dining spots, making it useful for an upcoming meal out, celebration or gift.

The offer is available in participating Tesco stores until 23rd August, while stocks last, with the points due to reach Clubcard accounts by 30th September. The £5 voucher can then be doubled with more than 100 Clubcard Reward Partners or tripled at selected restaurants, including PizzaExpress, Zizzi and Las Iguanas. A little forward planning could therefore make that original £50 stretch considerably further.
