Negris LeBrum Showcase Fall Winter 2021 Collection At NYFW

Hold up, New York Fashion Week is calling! This week Negris Lebrum took to the virtual runway to showcase their Fall Winter 2021 collection. Entitled “Homecoming”, the brand took their upcoming collection to the streets of Houston, home of Creative Director Travis Hamilton. This season builds upon previous seasons monotone colour palette, with deep maroons and metallics. Alike every other season, Negris LeBrum stayed true to their brand DNA ensuring inclusivity with their models being any age, size, race and social class.

I wanted to bring a piece of NY Fashion Week to the South this season, as I may not get the opportunity to show outside of NYC again for some time. I have always worked in what I refer to as a ‘conservative sexy’ aesthetic, allowing the woman who wears my collection to define the final feeling of the ensemble.

The 36-piece PLEASURES collection includes a selection of styles for men and women, printed with iconic ’90s imagery featuring the American actress. Featuring classic polka dot and denim prints from the ’90s archives, GUESS re-introduce the denim jacket set and sweat suit. The capsule is built around unreleased photographs of Drew Barrymore in 1993, featuring her new edgy grown style. The collection is set to be sold online and in selected stores in March, so keep your eyes peeled!

There has been such an overwhelming number of people who mention her ‘93 campaign when they discuss GUESS’s most memorable work. In comparison to other legacy models we have worked with in the past, the time period of Drew’s career felt like the perfect unexpected moment of nostalgia to introduce to a new generation of GUESS fans.
