Beginning the year with one resolution to love the world, Spanish fashion brand Desigual launches an upcycling collection! With a new collection working to create positive fashion in an eco-conscious way, Desigual ensures sustainability is at its core. From jackets and skirts to overalls, all pieces have been crafted using offcuts from second-hand jeans. This collection is 100% committed to sustainability, respecting both people and the planet – it’s a thumbs up from us!

Monki Release Their Planet Power Initiatives And First Circular Collection

Ah February the month of love … wait it’s also the month that Monki releases their first circular collection? This range has been created from mono-material, designed to make garment recycling easier. The exclusive online drop features six timeless and minimalistic garments, with key pieces including a reversible quilted coat and a pair of asymmetric jeans that can be worn two ways. The purposeful white colour palette means the garments use less chemicals whilst also ensuring the longevity of the pieces. Aiming to re-design the perception of fast fashion by becoming a fully circular fashion brand, we are definitely firm supporters of Monki’s initiatives! The collection will be available early February so make sure to keep your eyes peeled!

The notion of longevity during the design stage was a real priority, which is where the neutral colour palette comes in. Not only do we want the customer to love the aesthetics of their garment for longer, but we also want to allow for the opportunity of customisation. For example, plant-based dye or DIY embroidery. This black owned womenswear brand takes inspiration from vintage style and heritage pieces. After leaving her fashion buying role at ASOS to launch her first fashion collection for Spring 2021, founder Tracey Curran created Sunday Archives to not follow trends and instead, to celebrate women.
