One Project, Two Countries: Introducing Creative DNA Kenya 2.0

Explore individuality, diversity, liberty, identity and the vibrancy of Nairobi’s creative scene with the help of Creative DNA Kenya 2.0: a newly launched programme supporting and showcasing 20 of Kenya’s upcoming creative talents in the fashion field. Following on from their successful 2020 programme, Photographer Maganga Mwagogo and stylist Dwayne Kenzie have teamed up to create three exclusive photoshoots exploring the concept of identity and freedom whilst harnessing the power fashion has on community and self-expression. Capturing vivid colours and the vibrancy of the cityscape, the programme will allow fashion enthusiasts the opportunity to purchase the designs via a month-long pop up in Nairobi’s village market.

hush is Turning up the Volume for Young Creatives

A FROW favourite is back with a new collection, and it’s certainly one we won’t hush up about. Championing creativity and nurturing the next generation of young talent and storytellers, fashion and lifestyle brand hush has debuted its first-ever capsule created by an in-house team of five creative interns across design, garment tech, buying, merchandising and sustainability. What’s more, the brand will be launching the internship collection alongside a partnership with Hackney Empire’s Creative Futures Programme; spotlighting opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and offering them a safe space to learn new talents.

Magnum are Back to Remix the Summer

Speaking of the summer season ahead, Magnum Ice Cream is returning to Cannes after a two-year break to announce the hottest musical collaboration of the summer. As part of their Classic Remixed campaign to celebrate the brand’s twice dipped duo ice cream, chart-topper Kylie Minogue and South Korean dance icon Peggy Gou have teamed up to produce a supercharged remixed version of 2001 classic ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’. Embracing their bold and unapologetically fearless attitude, the single blends two iconic eras of music whilst celebrating contemporary club culture. The track will be released next Thursday in Cannes where Magnum has taken residence for over a decade, and it’s more than music to our ears.

Just when we needed a little something to make gallivanting a whole lot easier, Working Class Heroes announced their practical and resourceful yet stylish and minimalist collaboration with American outdoor enthusiasts YETI.
