We’re Dropping In To Tell You About The New Design Show We Can’t Stop Talking About

Published

BBC Three is bringing a new fashion entertainment show to our television screens – focused on giving nine of Britain’s up-and-coming promising creatives the opportunity to compete to win a life-changing prize.

The Drop, filmed in Manchester, embraces the pentalogy of the urban lifestyle; fashion, music, sports, celebrity and business. Nine designers will put their unique streetwear brands in the spotlight in hopes of securing a contract with high-end fashion retailer Flannels, which will see the winners’ next collection stocked in stores by the brand.

The star-studded judging panel is made up of fashion industry moguls; Miguel, Blondey McCoy and Marc Jacques Burton and hosted by Radio 1 DJ, Clara Amfo. Amfo described the experience during the show’s production as “emotional”, stating: “they all come from different backgrounds and have varied experience…came through with each challenge!”

The show is guaranteed to be an exciting and inspiring watch as nine trail-blazing designers from all over the country compete against one another for the ultimate reward!

The Drop first premiered on Monday the 14th of March, and the eight-part series will air every Monday from the premier date on BBC Three.
