FROW News #116: Gucci and NINGNING, Kate Moss at Selfridges & The Scent Everyone Asked For 👜🖤🌸
Gucci taps NINGNING for its most magnetic bag campaign yet. Selfridges is hosting a free exhibition of Kate Moss’ original noughties wardrobe. Huda Kattan has bottled one of beauty’s most requested scents. And somewhere between Céline’s Selfridges takeover, a Copenhagen linen dream and Lancôme entering the longevity era, this week did not come to play. Let’s get into it⬇️.
Beauty and the Bag just got its most compelling chapter yet 👜
Gucci has unveiled the second chapter of Beauty and the Bag, and it’s centred on Global Brand Ambassador NINGNING from aespa and the Gucci Paparazzo. Captured by Mert and Marcus, the campaign is built around a single idea: when a bag becomes part of your world, it occupies the mind completely. NINGNING appears in Gucci ensembles that move from minimal and sleek to full GG, each image pulling the eye back to the Paparazzo at the centre of it all. The bag itself is crafted from soft leather with a detachable strap, Web stripe, Horsebit hardware and gold-toned finishing, a design rooted in Gucci’s equestrian codes from the late 1940s, now very much for now. The campaign has already featured Kate Moss for the Gucci Borsetto and Emily Ratajkowski for the Gucci Giglio. The casting only keeps getting better. gucci.com.
The collab that makes dressing feel like poetry 🌸
The Shapes of Poetry collection launched this week, and it is exactly as beautiful as the collaboration promised. Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen, whose work sits at the intersection of couture and ready-to-wear and who counts over 125 prestigious stockists globally, brings her signature frills, shirring and floral motifs to UNIQLO’s functional LifeWear philosophy. Shirring dresses, frill tops, graphic tees and maxi skirts in high-quality cotton and elastic, all designed to be worn lightly as single pieces or in matching sets. It also marks Bahnsen’s first ever childrenswear line, a thoughtfully considered girls’ edit that pairs directly with the adult styles. The kind of collection that makes you want to rebook your summer plans. Prices from £19.90 for the Graphic T-Shirt to £49.90 for the Shirring Dress, with the full edit available at uniqlo.com.
H&M Studio just captured the south of France and bottled it ☀️
H&M Studio’s Resort 2026 collection captures the particular tension the south of France does so well: bohemian creativity alongside effortless glamour. Floaty dresses, kaftans and crochet knits sit alongside soft-yet-structured tailoring, while embroidery, rope details, handkerchief hems and antique-style buttons lend a handcrafted edge. Highlights include a beige linen-mix blazer with matching A-line shorts, a white cotton apron dress with embroidered straps and volume, a burnt ochre triangle bikini in an abstract sunflower print, red leather thong kitten heels and a butter yellow baguette bag. The mood is morning swims, open-air markets and evenings that stretch endlessly into balmy nights. Available now in selected stores and at hm.com.
The only flip flop worth packing this summer 🌴
Two icons of summer dressing, one collab that makes complete sense. Havaianas and Isabel Marant have joined forces on a collection of flip flops that do considerably more than their price point suggests: tie-dye prints in the brand’s signature carefree palette alongside the new Puffed style, a wider-set strap adorned with small metallic baubles that catches the light exactly right. The kind of sandal that makes every other pair in your wardrobe feel like it needs to justify itself. Available now at havaianas.com and isabelmarant.com.
Sarah Burton named her first Givenchy bag The Snatch. We respect the confidence 👜
Since joining Givenchy as creative director, Sarah Burton has been building a body of work defined by sculptural femininity and quiet tension. The Snatch is her first new handbag silhouette at the house, and it arrives fully formed: supple leather, a metal chain detail and a shape that cinches, embraces and pulls all at once, echoing the lines of a waist, the curve of a bra. Available in three sizes and a range of shades, in-store and online at givenchy.com.
Céline just gave London a global first look at Fall 2026 ✨
Été Céline is now open at The Corner Shop of Selfridges London, running until 27 June, and the window display alone is worth the trip. Inside, the summer collection sits alongside something genuinely significant: an exclusive global prelaunch of the Fall 2026 ready-to-wear, leather goods, silks and accessories, shown here before anywhere else in the world. Seascape photography from Takashi Homma’s New Waves series runs throughout the space alongside elements of classic beach houses. The kind of in-store experience that reminds you why physical retail still matters. At Selfridges, Oxford Street, until 27th June.
British luxury crafted from French lace and Japanese linen 🧵
London-based contemporary brand STPLE has launched Rêve d’Été, translated as Summer’s Dream, a ten-piece linen and lace capsule that is worth every one of its price points. Founder and Creative Director Hannah Dawson has built the collection around two extraordinary materials: Solstiss lace from Caudry, France, one of the historic capitals of French lace-making and a recognised Living Heritage Company, alongside 100% French linen woven in Japan and finished with a soft bio-wash treatment. The result is a collection of fluid, lightweight silhouettes including longline shirts, high-waist trousers, a mini dress, tailored shorts and a blouse with neck scarf, that feel genuinely personal with every wear. Prices from £120 for the Lace Multi-Wear Scarf to £650 for the Blouse with Neck Scarf. At stplewardrobe.com.
The most requested scent in beauty just got its own bottle 🌸
Huda Beauty’s Easy Bake Loose Powder has had a devoted following since 2018, and a significant part of that devotion has always been its scent. The Easy Bake Intense Eau de Parfum, launched 28 May, takes that signature and intensifies it into something genuinely covetable: wild cherry opens the fragrance, deepening into white florals layered with warm cinnamon bark and creamy caramel milk, before settling into a vanilla bourbon base designed to leave an all-day trail. Developed over 100 iterations with perfumer Hamid Merati-Kashani, and launched in London with The Pussycat Dolls and Central Cee performing on the same night. Huda Kattan does not do things quietly, and we would not have it any other way. The 50ml is £70. hudabeauty.com.
Lancôme just redefined what luxury skincare can actually do 🧬
Lancôme Absolue Longevity MD is the brand’s first medically endorsed skincare range, and it represents a genuine shift in how luxury beauty is approaching ageing. The collection is built around Mitopure® by Timeline, the number one selling Urolithin-A longevity supplement globally, now translated into topical skincare for the first time, and structured across three precision-led stages: Anticipate (under 35), Intercept (35 to 55) and Reset (55 and above). The results across clinical studies are significant, with up to 76% tighter skin in the Intercept stage and up to 55% improved skin rebound in Reset. Available exclusively at Harrods, with the Cell BioPrint diagnostic appointment, which analyses your skin’s biological age, priced at £40 and redeemable against any Lancôme purchase. The Longevity MD Facial is £100, also redeemable. Prices from £135. Book on 020 7893 8998 or visit the Lancôme Boutique in Harrods.
293 years of perfumery and Celest is why 🌟
Floris London has been making fragrance on Jermyn Street since 1730, which means it has earned the right to take its time. Celest is an amber floral rooted in the sacred origins of perfumery, the precious resins and incense burned in ceremony whose perfumed smoke carried meaning long before beauty became an industry. It opens with English chamomile and bergamot, evolves through a warm heart of davana, honey and cedarwood, and settles into ambergris, musk and opoponax. Quietly opulent and completely distinctive. £200 for 100ml, also available in 50ml, 10ml and a 2ml sample. At florislondon.com.

The hair serum the salon floor has needed for years 🌿
JÖRD was founded by award-winning fashion stylist and salon owner Matthew Curtis, who spent years watching the same quiet story unfold backstage and on the salon floor: women arriving with more than styling requests, carrying concerns about thinning, shedding and fragility that rarely got the scientific attention they deserved. The JÖRD Hair Growth Serum, developed in a Spanish laboratory, addresses this at the root. Powered by Capillia Longa and Elaya Renova, two clinically proven actives, it reduces hair loss by up to 89%, increases hair density by up to 52% and reduces scalp inflammation by 68% with just four applications. The science is serious. The results are the kind that make people ask what you changed. Vegan, fragrance-free, made in the UK, priced at £52.99 per 32ml bottle, or £42.99 on a three-month subscription. jordhair.com.
NEOM’s summer drops land at John Lewis on Monday 💛

Both collections come in essential oil blends (£25), scented candles from £21 and reed diffusers at £55, all in limited-edition hand-finished vessels. At John Lewis and neomwellbeing.com.
Kate Moss’s actual noughties wardrobe is at Selfridges for free, and it opens today 🖤
To mark the UK and Irish cinema release of Moss & Freud on 29 May, starring Ellie Bamber as Kate Moss and Derek Jacobi as Lucian Freud, centred on the sitting for her portrait in 2001, Selfridges is hosting a free exhibition of iconic pieces from Kate Moss’ early 2000s wardrobe. The Galliano Union Jack jacket is there. So is the famous navy sequined dress from her 30th birthday. Both were worn at defining moments in British fashion and celebrity culture, and both have rarely been seen in person. The exhibition runs from today until 4 June. Free entry at Selfridges, Oxford Street. The film is in cinemas now.
