FROW First Look: PATTERN Beauty Goes Skin Deep🛁🧴💛

PATTERN Beauty has been on our radar since day one, with Tracee Ellis Ross rewriting the curl-care rulebook and putting hydration at the heart of every bottle. Now, the brand is stretching its wings beyond hair, debuting a body care line that takes that same moisture-first philosophy straight to the skin.

It feels like the natural next step, expanding the ritual from curls to skin, making body care feel just as intentional and celebratory.

The five-piece collection is all about hydration, radiance and ritual. It starts with a Dry Exfoliating Body Scrub ($36), a blend of Dead Sea salts, Epsom and coconut oil that can even be used on dry skin, buffing away dullness before you even turn the shower on. Next comes the Moisturising Body Wash ($32), an oil-based cleanser that swaps the usual squeaky-clean finish for something softer, layering aloe and olive oil so skin feels quenched instead of stripped.

For those who love a post-shower glow, the Nourishing Body Oil ($36)brings together seven oils, from jojoba to baobab, with just enough slip to sink in without a greasy film. Everyday hydration arrives in the form of the Hydrating Body Lotion ($32), fast-absorbing yet packed with shea butter, aloe vera and mango seed to keep skin supple from morning to night. And for the extra-dry spots, or simply as a night-time indulgence, there’s the Moisture Rich Body Cream ($36), loaded with hyaluronic acid and baobab oil to plump, smooth and restore.

Every product carries Pattern’s new Midnite Amber scent: warm, genderless, and quietly sensual, balancing amber, musk and bergamot with subtle citrus and floral notes. It’s the kind of fragrance that lingers in the best way, adding a finishing touch to the ritual.

Ross calls the move “the hair-ification of skin” a reversal of the beauty industry’s usual one-way borrowing, where skincare has long stolen tricks from hair. Here, Pattern treats skin with the same respect and attention curls have always deserved.

PATTERN Body Collection is available at patternbeauty.com, landing at Ulta Beauty on 29th August and Sephora on 5th September. We’ll keep you posted the moment it touches down on UK shelves.
