Fila Team Up With MSGM In Celebration of Their 110th Anniversary

Whilst relaxed athleisure and sports luxe styles continue to reign supreme fashion champions, Italian sportswear brand Fila has paired up with urban contemporary fashion empire MSGM for a ‘60s tennis-inspired capsule collection just in time for the upcoming Grand Slam tournament in Paris, and it certainly deserves the match point.

Serving us an authentic sports-luxe style with added momentum from relaxed athleisure styles, the romanticised capsule collection was designed by MSGM founder and creative director Massimo Giorgetti. The collection homes a wide range of embroidered halter-neck style tops, fitted jumpsuits, light miniskirts, zip-up track jackets and technical accessories. Revisiting Fila’s distinctive archival counterparts, remixed with MSGM’s irreverent character and signature bright aesthetic, the collaboration champions vibrant all-over floral prints, voluminous ruffles and lace detailing whilst retaining practical sports quality.

Not only is the Fila brand a tennis court for both technical skill and timeless style, but the metropolitan pieces are even set to be worn by international players sponsored by the brand during the course of the French Open including Karolina Pliskova, Sofia Kenin, Diego Schwartzman and Reilly Opelka, truly showing us the versatile sportswear pieces can be taken on and off the court.

In what we like to call a love letter to tennis, the playful collection is now available exclusively at the official Fila UK website and is set to launch on Fila.com soon, certainly the perfect pieces to ace your Summer wardrobe!
