Not only will this gig be thick with nostalgia, but the singer is also treating us to some brand-new tunes. We’re sure this set is going to be nothing short of a “Masterpiece”. 🎤

The Comedy Festival Bringing Laughter to Leicester ☺️

They say laughter is the best medicine, and Leicester Comedy Festival is here to serve up a huge dose. The event will see a lineup of famous comedians performing across Leicester from the 8th to the 26th of February 2023, including famously funny icons such as Jo Brand, Stewart Lee, Rosie Jones, Michael Rosen, Tony Slattery, Sikisa and Eshaan Akbar. The local charity, Big Difference, the muscle behind the festival, is using this experience as an opportunity to shine a light on and inspire the up-and-coming generation of comedians! (All rising stars need their opportunity to shine after all) Forget chocolates and jewellery, give us the gift of laughter this Valentines’. 🍫

Amy, Amy, Amy: Her Story Like We’ve Never Seen it Before 🖤🕊

The new Amy Winehouse Biopic BACK TO BLACK: takes us on a deep dive into her intense rise to fame. The film will depict the vibrant years Amy spent living in London, with breakout star Marisa Abela portraying the legendary late singer. The feature will be packed full of the icon’s most popular songs and will celebrate her propel into the hearts of her fans and the industry as told from the perspective of Amy herself. For the first time, fans of the musician will be able to see what she saw and feel what she felt during her whirlwind stardom. Filming is currently underway, and we can’t wait to see how it all comes together.  

Da Flava is Being Brought to Brixton 🇯🇲🍛

Brixton is opening their hearts to the taste of the Caribbean. Original Flava (the brother duo) have announced they are opening a permanent residency in Market House Brixton. The Jamaican food spot will open its doors to the public on the 1st of Feb; offering a variety of dishes from an authentic Caribbean Sunday roast to visionary vegan treats, and a selection of Jerk options – mango, honey, hot and spicy, you name it! – and a whole host more. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it, have you seen their Instagram? – time for a lunch break I think! – nevertheless, we’re adding this to our list of dinner destinations! #bigtingzahgwarn 🤤
