Dickies Reinvent Their Signature Styles With New Natural Reaction Collection

Published

After almost 100 years of Dickies being worn by anyone from your average manual worker to West Coat rappers like NWA and Tupac, it is safe to say that this iconic brand has certainly come to mean more than just practical workwear. Home to durable, functional, rugged garments that stood the test of hard labour but now standing the test of timeless fashion, the once workwear brand is back with a Spring Summer collection – this time reimagining their much-loved, signature styles and silhouettes.

Celebrating the brand’s dedication to traditional craftsmanship, the Natural Reaction collection captures an authentic 1970s retro feel whilst staying true to the Dickies classic workwear aesthetic. Think muted pastel tie-dye prints, vintage washed-out fabrics and subtle summertime colourways, splashed across a range of cool cotton utility garments including shirts, shorts and overalls, perfect for the warmer weather. Amongst the subtle colourways and modern updates, a calm garden stripe runs throughout the collection, paying homage to the brand’s workwear heritage; The pastel striped print was actually inspired by a fabric once used to create a pair of gardener’s gloves from the brand’s archive collection.

Some of our favourite pieces within the collection include the unisex striped Sunberg Workshirt that reinvents the brand’s classic shirt, available in both a crop and longline style, paired with matching elasticated utility shorts for a bold and standout look. The women’s Dovray Shortall becomes a summertime reinvention of the staple Dickies full coverall, crafted from soft cotton twill, the piece is perfect to achieve a casual, off duty look.

Delivering functionality, comfort and summertime style, with prices ranging from £10 to £80, the Natural Reaction Collection is now available on the official Dickies website and selected stores.
