Calvin Klein Taps Heron Preston for Contemporary Collaboration

Published

Known for his self-expressive, authentic designs and modern approach to internet streetwear culture, Heron Preston teams up with Calvin Klein for a 100 piece collection of elevated basics. Following clean lines, relaxed silhouettes and celebrating the beauty of simplicity, the collection is built on the foundations of Calvin Klein’s staple supportive undergarments inspired by their much-loved archival pieces.

Reinventing classic Calvin Klein styles whilst retaining the authentic culture and heritage of the brand, the highly anticipated collection is home to wardrobe binders from baggy t-shirts, neutral-toned hoodies and relaxed fit jeans to denim trucker jackets and underwear. Essential but far from basic, plain white t-shirts are detailed with underarm gusset stitching and minimalist vests feature ribbing and dimensional stitching, whilst raw ethically sourced denim is subtlety finished with Preston’s signature orange design touches.

The unisex collection lends itself to a timeless, genderless style, resulting in a refined collection that encourages us to express ourselves. Shot through the lens of photographer Renell Medrano, the designer tapped a host of inspirational famous faces for his naturally innovative campaign including Models Ashley Graham and Kaia Gerber and rappers Lil Uzi and Nas. Straight out of the 90s, the campaign is reminiscent of the classic CK adverts expressing the collection’s universal quality and how their designs are made to live in.

Priced between $36 and $225 and available from sizes XS to XXL, the collection is now available online and in selected retailers.
