After a long week of much-needed sunshine, we’re here to give you a 5 minute break and fill you in on all the latest news from the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries! This week we show you a sustainable, multi-functional collection that’s perfect for this season, a skincare brand that’s dedicated to upgrading its formulas and a start-up label creating swimwear from ocean plastic waste. CD Femme Releases Collection 2

What’s better than a new fashion brand that focuses on innovation and spreading their positive message? We’ll wait… CD Femme announces the release of their Collection 2. After launching in 2020 and with a mission to rewrite the rule book on how fashion can positively represent customers, the label perfectly blends versatile, modern staples with punchy, playful prints and slogans for that accessible designer brand experience. Ideal for taking the city streets by storm, this form of “buy once, love forever” everyday dressing also commits to quality and longevity. Encouraging their female customers to be a part of a more engaged, active and empowered future by sharing inspiring stories and promoting discussion around issues that affect the wider world. This brand perfectly captures girl power and we are totally here for it!

Most brands build a community with the clothes as the starting point – I want to flip this with CD Femme and give fashion and the community equal focus from day one. We design with this in mind, but we also want our audience to actively shape how we develop. Our community are the heart of the brand, the way this filters through to design is about conjuring a designer brand experience and aesthetic that is accessible to everyone, where we can share empowering stories and find ways to give back through Charity, Advocacy and Representation.

This collection enables you to focus on your personal best. Read more about the collection here

Introducing ELLE NAGE Swimwear That Doesn’t Cost The Earth

Let us introduce you to the newbie on the swimwear block, ELLE NAGE a new luxury, sustainable and ethically produced swimwear brand. Created from regenerated plastic waste collected from the ocean, these pieces are designed with longevity in mind with each piece also being reversible – giving you two looks within one! REVIVRE, the brand’s debut collection features two swimsuits and two bikinis, both encompassing the vibrant colours and bold prints that are fundamental to the ELLE NAGE aesthetic. Encouraging the wearer to feel uplifted and confident, this swimwear is set to become a staple year after year!

I wanted to create a swimwear brand that filled a gap in the market for a generation of women looking for a stylish, yet responsible approach to fashion at more affordable prices. Shopping ethically is hard, so I wanted to make it easy by bridging the price-point gap between the over-priced brands and the fast fashion market, rendering sustainability more attainable and affordable.

Introducing Peacci’s Nu Nudes Collection

Taking the nail industry to a more inclusive level, Peacci launches their new Nu Nudes collection. Busting the fashion and beauty industry’s common myth of there being one universal nude shade, this curated collection of 12 nude nail polishes offers more diverse options than the industry has ever seen before. With a gradient from light vanilla to deep mochas, this range has been created with every skin tone in mind. These long-lasting polishes are also 100% vegan and cruelty-free, so won’t have a negative impact on the strength and health of your nails. We are obsessed!

Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do at The GelBottle and Peacci. That’s why I created the Nu Nudes collection because as we all know, one nude doesn’t fit all. For decades, the beauty industry has used the term ‘nude’ to essentially describe a single colour rather than it being based on skin tone. But everyone is unique, and our individuality should be celebrated.
